I repect the Times and think it is important to show also controversial persons. However I do not think that it is right to present Bush as a person of the year. A man who is responsible for about 1.5 million dead civilians in Irak and Afghanistan should not be mentioned in my opinion...

Agree that Hitler shouldnt have been removed, since TIMES claims to be oh so controversial. But most of the posters here are just as bad as TIMES, with their comments about Stalin and Mao killing millions, ignorant sheeple

I'm glad I wasn't the only one who noticed der Fuhrer wasn't on the list even though he was man of the year because of Leni Riefenstahl's revolutionary documentary on the Nazi Party rally during the Harvest festival in Nuremburg titled "Triumph of the Will"! I guess Joseph Stalin murdering circa 20 million of his on people isn't so bad as long as you're a communist and not a racist, not including Ayatohllah Khomeini and Mao Zedong (the latter of which killed an estimated 70 million of his own people. Way to keep up the double stander ed. R.I.P Adi

Times Person of the Year stopped being relevant when they made Rudolph Giuliani Person of the Year and not Osama Bin Laden. The fact that they removed Hitler from this video speaks volumes.

why is that Hitler is cut out from 1938, but Stalin isn't? Was he a better person? Much worse.

If I remember correctly, Hitler was Time's person of the year in 1938. They cut him out. Quite convenient.
